Uh? Product tempaltes do not have ANY category. They're just linked to products. Only general templates have categoriesby Alex - Howto and Tutorials
LIBRARY ITEMS => Define Clipart Categories In each row you will see Actually: Hidden or Actually: Visible, along with a button to change it. HIDDEN means it will be visible only when you're logged in but not to customers. Just change it to visible and it will be there for everyone.by Alex - General Discussion
Depends WHERE it appears. There are 2 main locations. PRODUCT OPTIONS => Manage/Define Products in there there's the image column, and if you click "edit" there's also the "Optional Big Image" on the bottom. That's the main image for the catalog. But if you have a fixed size, then you might also have the optional fixed size image applied. That's in PRODUCT OPTIONSby Alex - General Discussion
The BGcolor, by definition, is the BGcolor of everything. It is just a full layer on bottom of everything so it really has no "size" but is always the full size of the product. That said, to do what you want you have mostly 2 ways: 1) if you want user to be able to define BOTH colors, then the only way is to use 1-color cliparts in a template and allow user to change only the colorby Alex - General Discussion
Well... Great! A new well trained user is always a good goal And BTW: it wasn't the cache: that link STILL is only to the admin panel homepage. Admin panel uses frames, and that link is always the container only. In short, therés really no way for you to give a direct link to something in the admin panel. Describing it's "path" is what's needed. Well, all the best and enjoy youby Alex - General Discussion
The link to your setting is only the top link of the admin panel, not a direct link to your configuration page. So, just FYI, that's basically unuseful as it just redirects to RTD's admin panel homepage Per your question I again have to point you to this manual page: http://support.realtimedesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/rtd_manual_ch_07_artwork_templates From the top line of the GENERAL TEMPLby Alex - General Discussion
Oh, and one other thing before you will ask (because I know you will! ) There's another reason why your new templates would NEVER show up even in case you will uncheck the category in the product. In the TEMPLATES OPTIONS=> Manage General Templates section I noticed you assigned 200% wrong values for Min and Max aspect ratio fields. That thing is described here: http://support.realtimedesby Alex - General Discussion
Form the catalog link you sent I see 2 buttons: design it and view templates. Design it will of course just launch an empty designer with no loaded template. Show tempaltes is correctly showing all of your general templates. Now: the newest general templates you've created seems to be into a new general template category named Real Estate => Rise Realty Products, and I guess that's what yby Alex - General Discussion
Forum can help, but for these "basic" stuffs your best friend is the manual, at least at the beginning. The product setup section of it will explain about sizes and sides: http://support.realtimedesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/rtd_manual_ch_08_product_setup Look for the DEFINING A FIXED SIZE section. But in general, you might want to read that page in full Look also in the vides sectiby Alex - General Discussion
That link is a template. What you are experiencing is a mix of product and template things. The product we're talking about is KELLER WILLIAMS SIGNS => 20" x 30" Black & Red New Logo Panel. Consider the Configure Generator area in it's PRODUCT OPTIONS => Configure Products section. It is explained here: http://support.realtimedesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/rtd_manual_ch_08_prodby Alex - General Discussion
That could be related to the product setup. To help we'd need a link where we can experience the issue.by Alex - General Discussion
Sadly not in any easy way. The modifiers could be used for discounts, but are also used just to modify prices for a variety of reasons too. This means we cannot just assume the original price has to be shown in all cases. Moreover, at a more technical level, modifiers are applied to all functions that are pricing related. This means that, to fetch also the original price, the calc routing shouldby Alex - General Discussion
I'm sorry, but the use of DirectCSS really requires good knowledge of both CSS and page inspectors. For example, that code would do nothing because the correct syntax for a HEX color code is not ffffff, but #ffffff. Also, my bad, that external_useraccess_body selector is not going to be enough because the real contents will be loaded into an iframe. The style applied will be the very same asby Alex - General Discussion
But you can add it. DirectCSS is not only to modify existing entries, but also to add new ones. For example, a common class to style button in the RTD is TextsStyle. This means that normally you style it as: .TextsStyle { your CSS... } But if you'd like to change ONLY the ones that are included in the regusers popup you'd add this in your DirectCSS isntead: .external_useraccess_body .TextsSby Alex - General Discussion
Style: it includes your directCSS entries, so you can use just that. To target exactly and only that embeddable module styles, its body has a external_useraccess_body class assigned.by Alex - General Discussion
In case you're asking about the regustered users login page, there's also the external embeddable module. You can find the links in the Your RTD Links & Builders area, it's the REGISTERED USERS PAGE linkby Alex - General Discussion
What are the settings of the clipart group? I am mostly interesting in the setting for the Show only cliparts[...] options. Those could often be the cause of some clips not being shown, if they fall into some "non-display" ruleby Alex - General Discussion
Done. I have added 2 new labels: Registered Users: New User Registration and Registered Users: Password retrievalby Alex - General Discussion
I think the concepts are pretty clear. Now it looks like you're struggling more in how to actually implement the changes you need. As I mentioned, tech workarounds are easy to put in place. At least, they are from my developer's perspective. But in case you will not feel confident in applying those changes yourself, you can always open a support ticket. For the changes discussed here we're talkby Alex - General Discussion
Actually, waht I said is PRECISELY that adding HTTPS for a designer link would not work: QuoteInvoking the API or an RTD link with the SSL version is not going to help. This because you might be invoking the designer with an SSL url, true. But everything loaded by it and into it will still be non-ssl, and so mixed contents will still happen. So yeah, I said and I repeat: the designer CANNOT bby Alex - General Discussion
Let me jump in the discussion too. I have some random thoughts about all of this I'd like to share. "Thinking out loud" mode on! Everyone is right: RTD, right now, is not meant to be served under HTTPS. However, the actually is SSL in there. We are already using it for sensible pages like checkouts through RTD, as well as several admin pages. The internal setup is both "sillby Alex - General Discussion
Is the product being added as the correct one in Woo's cart? As I said, shipping is not related to RTD, but it's fully a Woo thing. In general, easiest way to check your setup is to simply bypass RTD totally. In the product page, if you will temporary remove both the RTD DESIGNER LINK and the RTD TEMPLATES LINK, then the normal "add to cart" button of woo will be shown instead of thby Alex - General Discussion
Ok, I've looked into this too. Can you please try to update the js_functions.php file into your RTD plugin folder with the attached one and check if it solves the issue?by Alex - General Discussion
I'm still on travel, but I'd wanted to let you know I'm around. I faced this thing in past, the solution lies in the JS file. Will need to get back to a proper computer to check that out though. Thanks you for your patience!by Alex - General Discussion
Ok, here I am. So, it looks like you are able to correctly add designs to Woo's cart, and your only issue is about shipping costs. Fact is that such cost is determined in full by Woo only. RTD weight is normally used when RTD manages shipping, but this is not your case. In short, RTD weight has nothing to do with this: if Woo's shipping requires a weight to calculate shipping, then you haveby Alex - General Discussion
I am replying just to let you know I saw the messages. We're still at the SGIA now, so expect a better reply on this issue probably on Monday. Sorry for the little delay!by Alex - General Discussion
It was actually a bug. We fixed it as I've created a new version of the plugin. I have emailed you the new version right now, please confirm you've received it. As for the templates, if you don't want it just empty the RTD templates link field in the product setup page of Wooby Alex - General Discussion
I need to verify one thing on your files then. You should have my email address already. Can you plz email me all the files being part of your RTD plugin you currently have live?by Alex - General Discussion
Wait... just to be sure and clear: you're saying that you do have options in Woo which users are correctly selecting before entering the designer, but after the design process those options are not "saved" anywhere in Woocommerce's cart?by Alex - General Discussion
In the plugin there actually is a script to show and load templates properly. So, 1st question is: are you using that script or are you trying to create a standalone page of yourself where you're placing thumbs and links "as they are" in the RTD?by Alex - General Discussion
