Yes, oh yes. Just tried it. I like it. Perfect solution. Now I can see all kinds of possibilities to customize the area around the drawing border to fit seamlessly into the page. Thank you once again. (yes, I know you did it just for me!;).by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Thanks Alex this is great. Now, the "But there's one warning . . ." is a big obstacle for those with a lot of products that are already set up. I don't want that "invisible border" on all products just yet. In order to implement the new border system, we wouldn't be able to do that until we have created new Masking Images for all products. I have a suggestion for a solutioby cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Another related question while we're on this subject. When using the designer, how do you get rid of the dashed border that is displayed on the outside edges of a background/foreground image? This image shows a white foreground mask installed into RTD. The solid line is my product edge. The rose is in the foreground mask. The dashed line shows in the designer only. Is it possible tby cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Sorry, I wasn't clear in my statement. Creating a vector (svg) bkgd/foreground at full size - no problem. It's a nicely small file. But when adding bitmap (raster) images to the svg vector was my question. What resolution should the bitmap images that are placed into the vector drawing be? I use Illustrator to create actual size svg files. I use photoshop to create actual size bitmap filby cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Thank you for the instruction. Works great. If making a making a mask image for a large product such as 18x24 sign and combining text and images in the mask area: What size would the mask image need to be created? What is best format and resolution to save the image?by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Can you provide a quick "how to" for implementing this feature?by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team

Ahh. Great. This is a feature of Liveperson. Thanks for adding this.by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Great. I like bigger and faster.by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Maybe it's there. Maybe there's a way. I want to add the weight of product addons to my products, but cannot figure it out. For example in Configure Products: Product = Yard Sign - weighs .1 pound. There is a field for weight. Optional Addon = Step Stake - weighs 1 pound There is no way to add weight for the addon section. Can this be added to the setup? Thanksby cos - General Discussion
Just noticed new behavior for text editing in RTD. Clicking on text to edit brings up an edit window instead of editing in place. A bit confusing if you're accustomed to the old behavior, but probably nicer to a new user. I like it. Seems to be more accurate in selecting the text. Is this a new behavior or just my computer?by cos - General Discussion
I'm using Filemaker Pro Advanced. It can do anything.by cos - General Discussion
Thanks for adding the favicon to the RTD site. It's nice.by cos - General Discussion
Hi. It works perfectly. I had already added new tables in the database to handle the many sides and many items. However, I had not yet understood how that data would get exported from RTD. I still don't grasp it. So I now have two experimental databases: 1. Full import - All fields listed in one table. 2. Full import split - All fields listed in three separate tables: Orders, Items, Sidesby cos - General Discussion
Thanks. As I was driving a long trip last night it came to me they must be 3 tables and that's why they are split. Makes perfect sense. I guess I should treat them the same way in my database. Thanks for the reply.by cos - General Discussion
Thought it might help to include a couple screen shots of two different export template layouts: This is a csv style: This is a return sep style with field names:by cos - General Discussion
I have created an Email & Export Template called "CSV Export All Fields". It contains every field available to export. It appears to work fine. My purpose is to import the data into a database which contains all of the matching fields. However, I have one problem: Upon import into my database (a record with fields for every RTD field item), my data gets split into 8 records insteby cos - General Discussion

Wow. Great. Moving right along here. We will be exploring this tomorrow. What is the new "Internal Job ID" about?by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team

Would it be possible to number the individual designs in manage orders? When you have an order with many designs there is no way to quickly refer to a design. If the designs are really similar, the only way to tell one from the other is to open the jpg preview. Maybe where is says "Original Design" there could be appended a number "Original Design - 1", "Original Desigby cos - General Discussion
I really like the administration end of RTD. It's very well thought out and organized. I want to make some suggestions which I hope would be easy for you to implement. RTD could become a fantastic complete ordering/invoicing system if there was a way to simply create and maintain a database of customers. Because of the fantastic database structure of RTD, I can see a lot of potential here.by cos - General Discussion

Well, let me be the first to say hello. It's great to have you. Looks like you have quite a bit to get started with. Summer is a very strange time for us in business. I posted earlier in July about it. There's a reason they call it the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer! We've been very busy all summer, but have noticed a slow down in certain segments of our business with housing development beingby cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Okay, I already have things set up like this. I have noticed my problem after reviewing your suggestions: When I'm logged into the Admin Panel the message area is completely different than what the customer sees. Things I don't desire for the customer to see. Sorry I didn't think of that before. All is well. Thank you for your help.by cos - General Discussion
Hi. I would like to know if there is a better way to give my customers a User Revise Link than clicking on the User Revise Link in Manage Orders. What I'm doing is clicking on User Revise Link and navigating until I get the design loaded. I can then copy the url from the address bar and send that link to customer so they may changes and save the revised design. I cannot give them the first orby cos - General Discussion
I have a love/hate relationship with July. It's a really funky month. Hate - because business is always weird in July. Slower than normal, I guess because people are on vacation and distracted. Also the weird customers show up in July. Love - because business is slower than normal and we get a break. Just thought I would break the maddening silence on this forum and make some noise. This is a great feature. We are one of those only linking from our website and not using the catalog. This will be a great time saver when creating lots of templates. Thank you for adding it. As always, you guys are super!by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
We have a standard email template to do some "fishing" with these types of users. I don't know if you've ever been fishing, but the worst thing to do when fishing is to pack up and go home just because a fish ate your bait and took off. What you need to do is put more bait on the hook and try again. We've found that at least half of the potential customers will end up buying from us. Ifby cos - General Discussion
