If you mean changing the gray BGcolor, then yes. The key here is to change the CSS itself.by Alex - General Discussion
in SYSTEM OPTIONS => Configure RTD-Catalog => STYLE SETUP Below the textarea for the CSS, you should see a table named "Define Columns for each RTD-Catalog Area" Those settings should define how many items per row to show (in your case. the "Product Cats" setting). If it's set to 1, then the behavior you're seeing is correct and you only need to increase that valuby Alex - General Discussion
It's in SYSTEM OPTIONS => Configure RTD-Catalog => RELATED PRODUCT GROUPS Add a new group, then edit it. You will have to check the products you want to relate. Naturally, you can create unlimited groups.by Alex - General Discussion
Will start to work on that page ASAP. Thank you for your hints, will let you know soon.by Alex - General Discussion
1) unfortunately there may be million reasons for a not received email. The first thing is naturally to ask users to look in their junk, but there are also other possibilities. For example, it may happen that for some reason their email provider added us to some sort of black list: this happened few weeks ago with AOL (now fixed). I may try to look in system logs, i would need you to pass me thby Alex - General Discussion
Just one note: i saw you already placed this thing live on your site. I'm proud about this, but as you know it's still work in progress. Considering the addons i planned (as uploaded cliparts and saved designs viewers), i will more likely work on that page again. This means that that page may change or stop working from time to time, when i'll be there working on it.by Alex - General Discussion
Quick update: your suggestions added. Link to logo made, and default screen now shows login formby Alex - General Discussion
Generally, i am trying to import and use the very same style of the "order revise" page. As that page is already for users too, and considering that registered users are also able to see their past orders, i think the best is to unify the style experience. Now i'm only testing naturally, but i hope to write back soon with something more. I would also like to add a viewer of the uplby Alex - General Discussion
I am doing some tests. Nothing definitive yet, all work in progress to start from and discuss a bit. I've prepared a page like this: http://designer.realtimedesigner.com/abettersign/ext_useraccess That's quick and dirty, but the goal here may be to start building a general sum page for registered users. Than you could link this page from your site directly. I am showing you this to diby Alex - General Discussion
I really like the idea. But i also need to understand how to apply it... As both cart and "sign in" form uses session cookies to identify the user, such a code should be called from RTD domain to avoid secirity crossdomain restrictions (you naturally cannot access cookies of RTD from a page placed into a different domain). So, to work the "sign in" code should be placedby Alex - General Discussion
If i didn't make something wrong on my codes, you can already move orders into categories directly from Manage Orders page. In that page, there's one checkbox on the left for each order, or you can check/uncheck all visible orders with the "check/uncheck" button on top of the same column. Once selected, you just need to use the "Mass move selected orders to" command. Selectby Alex - General Discussion
deigner => designer mispell corrected. About the email text: as that's only an extra notification to admis from RTD, the text of that email cannot be changed: it's hardcoded and same for everyone. But your suggestion is right, so i changed it to PayPal did NOT RETURN a \"verified\" code. Thank you for the hintby Alex - General Discussion
What Cos suggested works well if you will never use the sapes tab in any product. But there's also another way, product based. In "Configure Products => Configure Generator", on the uppper right part, there is the "MAX ITEMS" table. In there, if you set "Max Shapes allowed" to "none", the shapes icon will not be shown in designer, while designing thby Alex - General Discussion
About the black BG, now fixed. If for any reason (and this may happen with products using BGimages) a bgcolor can't be determined, white is now used as default instead of black. About the size, that's correct: only raster options has the option of adding the bgimage into the filan output. Vector output will export only the area you defined as "drawable" by users, which means not thby Alex - General Discussion
Really insidious... I'm glad you found out what caused the issue, this time it was REALLY well hidden! Congratulations for your succesfull search, and thank you for sharing this!by Alex - General Discussion
Maybe i found it. It seems it was an issue related to Internet Explorer only. Now i added a fix for that, and the link you provided works fine in IE6 too. Plz confirm all is ok now, thank you for your help!by Alex - General Discussion
Uhm... so this only happens from saved product templates? I will dig into this, will let you know ASAPby Alex - General Discussion
Perhaps... It's possible, in that FF options, you disabled popups? Order form is one of the few things that still appears in a dedicate, real popupby Alex - General Discussion
Uhm... Just to look at the same thing, i tried starting from this designer product. Then, i added a textline on the left side, and another on the right one. I clicked "add to cart", and item was correctly placed in cart. Then, i tried hitting the "submit now" button, and i saw the usual page with email, name, adress ,etc... Just to be sure we're talking about the same tby Alex - General Discussion
That's because of general templates. As they are general, multiple sides are not saved in them. This because they can virtually be opened with any product. For multiple side products like yours, product templates should be used instead. They allows you to use everything available on the product, sides included. You can find some details about how they work in this post.by Alex - General Discussion

Hi Cos, thank you for your words once more! As you suggested, i now added also a "past orders" link right after the "My Account" link. About adding a link also into the "MY FILES" area, please leave it on hold for now: as you saw, we splitted the "MY FILES" popup in two columns. I have to figure out the best way to link the past orders screen from thereby Alex - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
It was a bug, thank you for alerting. Now should be fixed, please let us know if you'll find others!by Alex - General Discussion
Product templates should be used when you need to create a template that uses all the specific property of a product. While general templates should be made using only very common options, product templates allows you to use the full available options. For example, multisided products or products with some special effect available only in it as some distort option. That said, the way to useby Alex - General Discussion
Thank you for your hints. I will start working on this soon, as in these days i'll be out for two tradeshows here in Italy. I expect to be fully back around Jan 25thby Alex - General Discussion
1) This is for designs saved while user is logged in. This is done, in designer, within your "Load Your File" popup. In that popup you will see your custom clips, your saved designes and a button, "save current design". When you'll click that button, the design currently in designer will be saved, and shown in the popup every time you'll open it. Those designs also appearsby Alex - General Discussion
Thank you for your support. This kind of discussion is really the way i love to build something strong!by Alex - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Thinking out loud... This is very interesting, and possibly a bit difficult. Browsers, where customers design their stuffs, are naturally pixel based, not inches based. So, when you have a product that's 24x6 inches, designer needs to "transform" it in pixels to make it visible and usable via browser. This is actually done using the ratio of the inches width against the pixel widtby Alex - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
I'm back. Interactive tool should be better now. Even if there are small visual glitches, becasue of the floating point conversion between inches and relative pixel size, i made it so that the printable area size is mainteined in any case. I discovered a general issue of javascript in doing floating point subtractions, my workaround should reduce the glitch to the minimum. I made some tests wby Alex - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Thank you. About the problem of interactive margin tool, i will look deeper and will reply better in some days (i will not be here tomorrow). About the manual settings, it may be because of the way you're entering them. The margins fields must be fully numberical: if you tried to enter and save a value of ".8564", zero is saved. But if you enter "0.8564" all should be fine.by Alex - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
