Few notes about questions 1 and 3. For vector, i've also found EPS and PDF to be good ones. SVG is good, but only as long as the result in RTD is similar to the one you can obtain in your primary graphic suite. As SVG is interpreted, it's not unusual that different tools render SVG files in slightly different ways. What you need is to use the format that looks "more similar" when useby Alex - General Discussion

Great explenation, Cos. Sorry if i did not reply to this before, and a big thank you for the great help you're giving in the forums!by Alex - General Discussion
This is a bad news, from my point of view. If the image is displayed fine, it means it's not a general problem with images. So, it's like in some way your firefox does not allow to load "too many things"... from RTD catalog only???? I can't really guess a reason for this... seems like a wrong cache usage, or anyhow something browser related. Would be great to hear if anyone else eby Alex - General Discussion
Iframes are placed with left align, inherited from the text-align property of the "catalog_maincontainer" element. So, you would need to calculate the left margin you need, and apply it. For example, somewhere in the CSS setup, you may add something like this: #catalog_maincontents iframe { margin-left: 20px; } Which will add a 20px left margin to all iframes in the left arby Alex - General Discussion
Uhm.... This is the direct link to one of the images you can't see: http://designer.realtimedesigner.com/images/7/products_categories/14.gif If you try to load it directly, what to you see? Nothing or some error?by Alex - General Discussion
Can you please give me some more details? The issue you are describing seems really to happen only to you and your firefox. 1) which FF version are you running? (can be seen under help => About Mozilla Firefox) 2) If any, which active Firefox extensions you have installed? 3) page looks fine but without images, or its layout is messed just like images were 1x1px ones? I mean the email given you by sandbox when you create a user in it, which is a fake email generated, valid and used only into sandbox itself. If you are using normal PayPal, this means you only have to change the "Your Paypal Email" fieldby Alex - General Discussion
Beta declared. I sent an email to all users with PRO actually enabled. Just to complete the circle, here's the body of the email i sent. Hello RTD user, I am Alex, the main developer of the RTD system. I am writing this to you because you are currently using the PayPal PRO feature RTD offers. Unfortunately, it seems actual PRO implementation has sporadic timeout issues, while normaby Alex - General Discussion
Ok. I really guess it's time to reconsider the PRO feature entirely. I thank you all and everyone who helped in trying to debug this, but it simply seems that actual implementation has issues we are not able to catch. I will consider to declare PRO officially an instable beta feature of RTD, and will try to add as much debug options as possible. The goal is really to understand why this is hby Alex - General Discussion
With sandbox, all your transactions will be virtual and conducted in the test environment. But you will need to change all the related fields, especially if you're testing with PRO. Sandbox, after you're registered with it, provides you a test email address, test API data, etc. Thoe are the ones you have to use when "sandbox" is used as a method.by Alex - General Discussion
Absolutely, i can't force you to keep PRO on, naurally. About the button label, i will alter it ASAP, makes sense. However, that button should just redirect where pae is expected to go: it's simply a direct location.href command in case browsers prevents javascript to do it automatically (90% of times, it means it redirects to the final thanks page). On my end, i can confirm i received no alby Alex - General Discussion
This is good, so i would proceed in steps. As i added the 5th machine past Sunday, let's leave this entire week to be 100% sure all is fine. Then, try to enable PRO back during the weekend, and naturally keep all your eyes on it. There are chances also the PRO issue was given by internal timeouts related to previous fileserver configuration. There are no proofs of this naturally, this is whby Alex - General Discussion
Some quick update to show i'm on it. About the minor drawback Mark mentioned: fonr will be available immediately for your users: what will not work before the next day are the vector generations (font caching is for the tools used to create vectors of texts). About the 5th machine, it's now on, evenif i still have to separate the tasks (but not sure it will be needed). However, this mew machby Alex - General Discussion
Unfortunately yes. Strange thing is that it seems to happen often only in case of creditcard payments for users using paypal PRO. I'm already in contact with a certified paypal developer, to try understanding what happens. Googling around i found that many other ppls, not only in RTD, are experiencing similar issues when using PayPal PRO as payment gateway (i mean timeout issues). I will lby Alex - General Discussion
Looking your site i found your company name in RTD should "thesignsource" (that's the name i was asking for): is this correct? If so, all seems fine in your paypal setup, and as expected also the test credentials works. At this point, knowing if you already accepted the Billing Agreement is naturally the very first thing. If the test worked and express checkout does as well, i can'by Alex - General Discussion
As i wrote in a past post, there are some first questions i have. 1st one is naturally which is your company name in RTD, so that i can check your setup too. In order to use the DirectPayment API (the PRO credit card feature), the PayPal account has to be a business account and approved for website payments pro and the billing agreement accepted. So, i would ask you if you fulfilled all theby Alex - General Discussion
Makes sense, so... done! Refunded option added. If you will move an order into that new section, it will automatically be marked as "unpaid" and "locked for revisions".by Alex - General Discussion
Order items are general properties of each ordered item (let's say the product properties). Sides are for detailed properties of the design itself: even if they are mainly for multisided items, they can be used also for normal 1 sided products to obtain details such as used fonts.by Alex - General Discussion
It's possible by using a paypal sandbox account. It can be created here: https://developer.paypal.com/by Alex - General Discussion
Absolutely yes. You need to use the "ORDERS => Email & Export Templates" area to define an email template. Then, you just have to select the template you wish to use from "SYSTEM OPTIONS => Configure Emails". To be sure a template is created correctly, you can test it on real orders. Just go in orders management, and view one. On top-right there's an area namedby Alex - General Discussion
That's a template property. After clicking it, you have to save your actual deisgn as template. Then, if a user will load designer from catalog for that template, he will no more be able to change size.by Alex - General Discussion
You'd need to do it externally. While logged in your admin panel, visit your catalog and go to the templates page that shows the template images you'd like to "extract". Then, on top of page, click the "TEMPLATE MAss Link Builder" button. You will see a very simple white page with just template images and their links. As suggested in that page, right click it and save thby Alex - General Discussion
To have credit card payment button you need to use paypal PRO. If you will use PRO, PAY USING PAYPAL button will perform the express checkout steps instead of just redirect your customers to PayPal. Oh.... sorry Well, what i wrote may still be useful for someone else. Now let's switch to credit cards then. All the above is still valid, but the steps are different. So, here are the steps that happens when a creditcard payment is requested: 1) user launch the "COMPELTE ORDER" popup 2) user clicks "Pay using Credit Card" 3) user sees the RTD form asking for his daby Alex - General Discussion
Ok, Testing results. I started from your website homepage. I tested designing the product: MAGNETIC SIGNS White Background 24 X 12 in I just added one line of text, and i added the design in cart. Then i clicked the "COMPLETE ORDER" button In the popup, i clicked the "Pay using Paypal" button. Paypal screen appeared. Problem with PRO is that it's not only called to complete payment. It's also used to collect customer informations such as name, email and address from paypal itself. At the end, the very big difference between normal paypal and PRO is precisely this. In other words, if RTD would save a RPO order even without a response from paypal, you would see the order but no data of the customer himself.by Alex - General Discussion
Nope, it doesn't. RTD saves designs only when an order is submitted. If PRO is the used option by customer (so pro payments and creditcard ones), designs are saved only upon confirmation from paypal itself, as the goal of it is precisely to pass only paid orders (that's why there's the option to set if you want paypal only or not). However I am thinking about this: hopefully some other user wby Alex - General Discussion
I guess you would need to alter the CSV file, and give the zero values only for zipcodes of your state. This way the "customer pickup" option will appear only if your customer will enter one of those zipcodes.by Alex - General Discussion
Yes, Mark question is correct. From a tech (mine) point of view, all companies into RTD are the same. In other terms, if all works fine for other users using PRO, there's really nothing different on your company that could cause PRO issues to you only. So, knowing which "ratio" of failed orders you think you're having would be a good start to look in some direction. At a very glby Alex - General Discussion
