Hi Hoodie. Good to hear from you again. What we've found from talking to customers is that the registration thing is a hurdle and you never know about it unless you really get to know the users and tally the phone calls about it. Alex's solution combined with our own backend solutions will be the key to conquering this. It is a very valuable tool which we want to utilize to its greatest potentialby cos - General Discussion
Hey. Right after the show. This would be an excellent project to get going.by cos - General Discussion
Sorry, forgot to thank you for this update. Works perfectly. We all appreciate the listening ear and attention to detail that Alex provides and I'm sure we have no idea how fortunate we are to have this.by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Looking great and works as advertised. This is good update. Can't believe we haven't discussed this in the past. Thanks.by cos - General Discussion
This bar thing is working great. A real time saver. One more observation. In Product Templates would it be more consistent and helpful if clicking the thumbnail returned a larger image and a button added to reimport in designer? As currently implemented one must add to cart to get an enlarged image.by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Good idea. I'm in support of this also.by cos - General Discussion
I hate nightmares. Will try the find the balance between the best of both worlds by adjusting product space for past and saved and have all new designs to the new store. Thanks.by cos - General Discussion
Could a javascript listener be placed into the designer header or footer to redirect to new store for certain criteria?by cos - General Discussion
That appears to be working perfectly and faster than any other method. Reminds me of a great old American western comedy movie "Support Your Local Gunfighter". Character there called Swifty Morgan. I shall call you Swifty Morgan now. Thanks Swifty.by cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
We have products in the Main store and want to branch off some products to new stores to take advantage of certain layout changes without affecting Main store. Product categories can be assigned to a new store, but cannot be unassigned from Main store? For new users no problem. For saved and past designs, is it possible to get these items opened into the proper new store?by cos - General Discussion
I see you changed the collapsable movement to solid fill the window instead. Smart move. Understood about your small screens comment. What I meant was that lets say you moved the bar 300 pixels from bottom of the screen and when you let go, the bottom snaps to bottom of browser scroll bars appear. Flexible design. I too prefer to move "stuffs" to bottom. Couldn't you just make theby cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Your implementations are nice and the extra features are great and will be real time savers. Really nice upgrades all around. Nice touch of collapsing the window when moving as I noticed the lag was terrible when trying to drag the open window previously. The large height of the admins window can get lost below the view screen if moved lower in the browser and there's no way to get to the hiddby cos - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Thanks Alex. Looking over this for quite some time. Personally, I think is a great improvement. I like it. But, it takes some getting used to. Those of us who've been using the previous incarnation will have to adapt to a very new way of working and I think it is much better when you get it. Moving the bar somewhere on the screen that is comfortable for your work habits and screen size (for me itby cos - General Discussion
Nutshell reply is good enough. Maybe someday it could get resolved. Thanks.by cos - General Discussion
Hi. After designer items are rotated they become almost impossible to scale because dragging the scaling arrows no longer scale in the direction one is thinking they should go. Is this a bug or can something be done about this?by cos - General Discussion

Hi Mark. Thanks for sharing this idea. I would think most companies would want access within rtd to higher quality art and the needs would vary greatly from one company to another, depending on what was offered, I think we would be willing to purchase in lots of 50 or more but unsure how often. Building the library of images of any kind where rtd owns the images is a must. This helps you stand ouby cos - General Discussion
After creating a new General Template category the new category is automatically selected as unchecked (visible) across every product. In Product Config under General Template Filtering is where I'm referring. I think this is not a good choice. It would be great if we could have the choice to make a new category visible across ALL products or select products only, with the default as not visibleby cos - General Discussion
Looking at how to make the stylesheet for stores link externally. Could we simply copy a stores css in Styles Setup and place that into an external stylesheet on our own servers, delete the css in Styles Setup and place a normal external style sheet link into the stores Configure Layout Header Code for Designer?by cos - General Discussion
For what it's worth . . . just tried popmount site on 5 macs with different os and no cookies popup when rtd loads. On ipad looks like you redirect as doesn't go to designer. I haven't seen any issues with rtd in an iframe for quite some time.by cos - General Discussion
I would like to discuss the editing procedure for General Templates and Product Templates. Not complaining, but would like to explore alternatives. And I apologize that this is such a long post, but a solution to this would save everyone a lot of time. Things get especially irritating when working for an extended time with editing existing General Templates. And I guess most companies do not nby cos - General Discussion
I don't remember a conversation about "cart items not-expiring for registered users". I'm referring to these comments from above. This is was a really great start to what we need. QuoteAlex This could be an interesting feature. I guess it could be possible, at admin side, to generate a "pay page" for saved orders. This would mean the ability of creating a page for usersby cos - General Discussion
This post is really long and ended up in a totally different direction than first intended, so I would like to bump the original part of this to current. Happens too often that customers think their cart contents (especially time consuming designs) are safe in the cart. Just got off the phone with a disappointed customer who lost 20 designs over night. I admit, our fault for not implementing aby cos - General Discussion
Yes. In the real world you'd think 1234 would find the match correctly. I've pulled my hair out over this across systems. Works here, does't work there. However, the easier solution is to mix both in the environment and this is working fine for now. A sticking point at the moment is a mysql formula. Looking into that.by cos - General Discussion
I knew this was opening a can of worms, as we say. Open the lid and those things are crawling all over the place. Certainly, moving forward cautiously is the best practice here. I think the only constant in rtd orders is order id. Email can change at Paypal payment. In our current case, the first step in processing orders is taking care of the Paypal paid and that is done by calling the paypalby cos - General Discussion
Paypal receipts are showing the leading zeros. You might be thinking why that matters. Well, to most, it probably isn't even a thought. With our work flow, a mix of zeros and no zeros causes a few extra steps in processing paid orders. We can explore other processes if need be. Personally I can't think of any reason the leading zeros are necessary.by cos - General Discussion
So far, this seems to be working mighty fine. Only place where it isn't is in order id for payment. Could there be a way to change that? Congratulations to me. Prize won and happy.by cos - General Discussion
RTD Order ID numbers have leading zeros. Is it possible to change the format throughout the system so they do not show? Especially do not want them in Email & Export Templates and External Notification on Submittal. Is there a prize for being the first to post in 2014?by cos - General Discussion
Lots of family coming and going over the next week, so before I miss it just want to say Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all other flavors to you all. Thank you RTD team for being there this year and for all you've done to make 2013 happy and prosperous. May God bless us all in 2014! Your friend, COSby cos - General Discussion
