I'm sure it is. Alex added some ID's a couple weeks ago to give more control and it must have effected the size of #tabs_floatingdiv.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
I THOUGHT I WAS NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, when you go to move the pop ups, you can't get out of it and it just follows the mouse. I noticed this, but I have been completely customizing all the popups so I thought that I was doing something that was making it do this. Good to know I am not alone. As far as the size of the popups, I am controlling all of those by css to get specific sizes anywaby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
This feature is now live! Read about what it does and how to implement it in this tutorial: Texture Tutorialby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
***Please note that this is in beta testing so please test, test, test this feature and let Alex know if you run into any problems!*** Ok guys, here it is. We think this one is pretty cool and has a lot of potential to it. I requested a feature where instead of using a solid background, we could use different textures, images, or anything as the background image. Hey everyone, it's been waayyyyy to long since I have been on the forum. Needless to say, I have been so busy with work I have not had time to work on my RTD customization. However, in the last month, I have been back at it and hopefully you guys will love what you see and what is possible with RTD. Anyways, to the feature request. Alex and I have already discussed this, but wanted it in heby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Sean, E-mail me at info@mycustombandmerch.com. I designed the my custom band merch one above (it actually looks a lot cooler now than the screenshot above.) Would love to help you. E-mail me your requirements and what you want done and compensation. scottby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Alex, I knew it wouldn't be easy so take your time. If we can get this to work right, the designer will be amazing. You are the best!by mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
I really want to come to this one.by mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Alex, definitely heading in the right direction. Here is my question though - Why can't you not use the recolor thing where you actually click on locations on the image to recolor it right when you first upload it. I am assuming it has to do with it being vectorized and put into the designer first? I feel like that would really help if once it was uploaded and you are reducing the colors if yby mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Sounds pretty close to what I think would be functional. Here is what custom ink does and I think it works really well. Click on this link and then upload an image and watch how they walk you through it: http://www.customink.com/lab/ The biggest thing with theirs is i don't think it actually recolors the image anymore (it used to do this). Now they just make you pick colors that are closby mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Alex, Yeah I knew about the color reduction tool, I was just proposing what you were saying of combining the two which makes sense.by mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
One thought. How does this work when someone uploads lets say a jpg that has hundreds of colors in it but it is actually suppose to look like a one color design. Will it select an exact RGB value or does it have a little more freedom to select what all should be selected that looks lets say "red". This could be very useful if it did select what looks all one color in order to help usby mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Love it, if we can keep making changes like this, RTD will be #1 in the market soon!by mycustomhoodies - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Alex, Here is another one. I was wondering if there was a way from the backend where we could let the client know the status of their order. For instance, on their order page, we could select from "Order Processed, order in production, order shipped", etc. Would be awesome if we could create these ourselves so they could be customized. The second part that would be awesome is iby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Alex, Maybe I am overlooking something, but as of right now, I get alot of orders that are not through RTD whether by phone, e-mail etc. I would be more inclined to use RTD for everything if there was a way to input your own orders into the system. That way you could have one central database for all your orders. I would forsee it having all the input fields for things that show up on a nby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Looking good PS! We have changed ours a little more since that first screen shot. We are hoping to have it live by the first of the year. We are working on our entire site, not just the RTD so it is taking a while. We are trying to make it as uniform as possible.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
I think PSD should be banned from the designer because of all the reasons said. It is actually our PREFERRED file to accept, but for the designer I just don't see it working. We usually just have them e-mail us any PSD's because they are just so large and usually have a ton of layers. I am good with all other formats.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Southland! Great to hear from you, I've been praying for your little one. I am finally getting the time to work on my site. My goal is to have a finished product by the first of the year. I have been just so busy with the printing aspect that the site is always on the backburner (Not a bad thing when work is consistently coming in). Would love to see how your RTD is coming along.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Alex, Yes, that is all it is, a price calculator. Most screen printing sites have them and you can just get an idea of what the costs are going to be. Thank you for working on this.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Great stuff Mark! You've given me some good ideas to use this for in the cart!by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
No this is different. Just so everyone is clear - I do not want them to be able to add things to a cart or buy now. I want it so they can select those options above and it will spit out a price. That is as far as it will go. There are too many other variables for them to just add that to a cart (artwork issues, placement, etc). This is just so they can get a quick idea of costs involved witby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
A couple other things before I forget: On most other sites, when it shows the colors of the shirt (background), it shows the actual squares of colors and not the name. That way users can see what actual colors are available. Basically, the background selection squares from the designer. Was wondering if this could be pulled out as like an api or in a frame where we could just drop thiby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Alex, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how I can do this on my own and not display the designer but just something like the cart but I just can't figure it out. I am not sure if this would be of use to anyone outside the screen printing industry, but I know for myself it would be extremely useful. Here is what I am wondering is possible: On many online screen pby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
wish i could have been there! Sorry guys! maybe next year.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Alex, I am in the process of creating an invoice that is exported, and I am currently getting the RGB color number codes for the background color instead of an actual name. The special code I am talking about is . Is there anyway we can get the actual label name that we have entered into our color lists? The invoice is actually coming together rather nicely, but I have a couple problems Iby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
I think what he is asking though is there a way to see how many and what colors are used in a design on the order page. I have always wanted this feature because I have to either open up the jpeg preview and guess or create a hires or reimport into the designer. It would be awesome if you could somehow see what colors are used in the design from the order page.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
I would love to come up with a mockup of what I think it should look like based on similar sites likes all of ours. I would use the term "dashboard" in describing it for those familiar with Wordpress. I think once someone signs in, it needs to be a summary of what they have done in the past. It should show saved designs, uploads, past orders, etc., all there in one place. This is prby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
Cos, Yes you're right, I was only thinking of my situation. Also, forgot to take into account that many times there is raster images within a vector file, good catch. I am open to whatever works for everyone as long as we can speed stuff up.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
I see your points. But what happens if they send you bad artwork or it is not "print ready". A typical internet user thinks print ready is a 30x30 pixel image at 72 dpi. While it may be inconvenient to go through the quote form, I think you are creating too many problems for yourself doing it with the add to cart. I think you are going to be doing a lot of refunding and in returnby mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
I think those are fair. We get artwork that is in PSD format (not through the designer) that is generally in the 20-50MB range, but as far as properly sized rasters like tif, jpg, png, gif, they really shouldn't be much bigger than the 20MB. Vector size limit is good too at 4MB. Good catch Alex, anything to speed up the system.by mycustomhoodies - General Discussion
