Customize the design tool

Hi Alex,

Is there a way to only have the Dreamstime button on the design tool. We are selling custom canvases and don't need any of the other stuff on there so as not to confuse our customers. Too many options. We only need dreamstime, and upload. We need to delete the add text line, shapes and my designs. How would we go about that or is it possible? Thanks

Option #1:
Some elements can be hidden right a product configuration level.
In the CONFIGURE GENERATOR area described here:
http://support.realtimedesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/rtd_manual_ch_08_product_setup#configure_generator
you can quickly disable shapes and texts.

For "my designs", that's a company level setting. Can be found in SYSTEM OPTIONS => Company Setup => Allow Users To Save Designs?. You just need to set it to NO.

However, those settings might affect other products you have.

So, here's option #2.
If you need a cleaner designer, I might suggest creating a dedicated store for it instead, and hide everything you do not need via CSS directly. The process is described here:

In a nutshell, you'd create a new store, create and assign a new style for it, and do you changes via the DirectCSS code if that new style itself.
