Part Number for Ranged sizes

Is there some way I can add the L and W into the Part Number when I use ranged values?

Right now that is the only advantage I see to using Fixed values.

Mark, fixed sizes have several features not available to ranged sizes. Most of the differences involve background images. Our golf ball, keychain and tee shirt examples use this feature. In the next week we will be rolling out the ability to show user selected background images - imagine our keychain example - when you click on the different color keychains, the background image will change colors.

The fixed sizes allow you to display the size and part number as default. If you put text into the field NAME TO SHOW, the size and part number are not shown.

Unless you need specific feature available to fixed or ranged sizes, use the mode that is simplest to define your product.
