Alex did you ever look at that site? in the above post?by southlandgraphics - General Discussion
So I figured out how to do sizes, but there is a problem. When a customer adds say "Mustangs" text to the front, and then figures out how to add "Name" and "Number" on back... and then figures out how to click "personalization" and enters his values, ...he can also enter a value for the text "Mustangs" and there is nothing I can do to stop it andby southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Also, when adding the new values or "variations" ... where is the ability to input the size that each name corresponds too?by southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
One suggestion Alex on the TP tool.... When a customer clicks the little t-shirt button... it should ask them to click "Add Number" or "Add Name" inside that tool. When a customer does this it should create a text item with each. Then they can enter the values they need. Make sense? Thanks again for a HUGE update. Ok...back to playing now.by southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team

How is it coming Alex? I have been checking this board every other hour since the 30th!1by southlandgraphics - General Discussion

ok. Yes, based on color selected, RTD should compare the product with the color and determine which sizes are available to be ordered...based on the sizes I enter for each color.by southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Is there a way to record notes with a timestamp? When a customer calls in and wants something we can record a timestamp within their design account? If not its not a big deal.by southlandgraphics - General Discussion
I don't think the "save still image" will work , pdf or otherwise. The idea of doing zoom is so that, say they are designing a small left chest print...they can zoom in and design it, then zoom out to normal view and see it. An example of this ...look at this site- http://stjohnsgrammar.deco-schools.com/designer/customize/18392?dpid=1 Click on zoom-in and it actually zooms like aby southlandgraphics - General Discussion

I am having trouble finding out how to charge more for printing on a black shirt, than a white shirt. There seems to be no way to charge more for the color that is selected....any ideas? I am missing something? The reason we need to charge more is because dark color require additional setup time and printing for an underbase ...vs a lighter colored garment that requires no underbase.by southlandgraphics - General Discussion
I thought of a better way to describe the size and color problem. User chooses a product, then chooses a color= what is displayed when he checks out are available sizes for that product for example... user chooses t-shirt, then color is burgundy= sizes available to order are youth small (6-8), all the way through adult xl. Currently user chooses t-shirt, then color of burgundy= thby southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Fair enough. I see your point for more than shirts, yes. What I do like about it though is that their system is smart enough to tell you that you can't use names and numbers on that product, nor why would you want personalization on that anyway? Items such as that are mass produced. If you want less than 6 items, you only have to click on "design for one" and you will be able toby southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Can't wait to see it Alex. I think we shouldn't really re-invent the wheel...customink.com uses names and numbers and they did a great job of setting it up so it is user friendly. Just go with that in my opinion...just have the ability for us to change the labels on the text if need be...so if we dont want to call it names and numbers we can call it personalization or whatever. -my thoughtsby southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
For product zoom- Just do this: Lets say shirt or sign is blue, and in normal view. User clicks "see design area only" or "zoom" and then user only sees a blue square with the contents inside. The blue color is actually the background color used again. Seems good to me? Only need to scale would be the design elements and text themselves right? How is it coming with the numbers alex?by southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
I like this idea. I still would like to also see searchable clipart files and mass product type creation. For example I want to create a Product type of "customized shirt:" , which has 2 sides, has all controls enabled but shadow ...etc... that way I don't have to do everything over and over again for each product within that type...is this possible alex? Also, is product zoom poby southlandgraphics - General Discussion
Alex- I did some more testing of this function today. One problem I see is that its confusing to figure out how to enter names and numbers. I would again refer to www.customink.com (names and numbers) options to understand what our market is looking for. Maybe a new gui will make it more understandable. thanks as always alex!by southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Alex- I tried it and love it! Maybe need some more information to show a user how to use it,...i.e. more user friendly, but it works great! Nice work, can't wait to see in the in RTD!by southlandgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Item Personalization sounds good. But we need to be able to change the label of that to "Names and Numbers". Mark- I still can't figure out how to set up the site to distiguish between 2x and 3x shirts that are only available in certain colors. Same with youth shirts. The big-boys have it where you select the color and each color determines the sizes available for that style of pby southlandgraphics - General Discussion
I am still waiting on Alex to finish the names and numbers and have one thing I am trying to work out in my mind. I want to use promotion codes or discount codes to reward users for past purchases, or reward users for a first time order or whatever the case is. The point is this... currently it seems I would have to make a discount code for every single product and then create a code for sayby southlandgraphics - General Discussion
Ok. I Can't wait to see it! Still wish there was a way to do mass coupon codes that applys for all products.by southlandgraphics - General Discussion
3rd exception? Uhmmm.. Ok. Sounds good Alex! I am all for making RTD better!by southlandgraphics - General Discussion
Alex, this regarding the topic we were discussing before, you asked me to post to the forum so others could contribute. What I am proposing is a way for customer to tell how many colors are in graphic by selecting the colors in pre-defined color pallete. Similar to customink, or bluecotton. Also for multiple colors, "make 1 color option" will need to be changed to allow for multipleby southlandgraphics - General Discussion
