Going to have to give each product a size? then compare them to pre-configured box sizes with max weight per box size? So that a box can be cut off by volume or weight or quantity. We've been wanting something like this for a long time now, to make shipping quotes faster and more accurate.by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
We've been looking at WooCommerce recently, if this would all tie together it would be awesome!by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Actually this problem has a VERY simple answer. open your RTD generated file in illustrator, before doing ANYTHING else go to Select > Object > Clipping masks, then hit the delete keyby psgraphics - General Discussion
I found that a little funny, since with CS6 they emphasized a lot on the pattern tool updates.by psgraphics - General Discussion
Kinda weird, I opened Booster's attached files and didnt have any repeating issues at all in AI CS5.by psgraphics - General Discussion
You cant just have a disclaimer popup or something that says the "logos are there for convenience only, please only use them if you are a preferred vendor"?by psgraphics - General Discussion
There was a small disclaimer on the bottom of the chart you posted... "The scale transform can be emulated in IE < 9 using Microsoft's "zoom" extension, others are (not easily) possible using the MS Matrix filter" is that a possibility for people on IE < 9?by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
... another example. RTD cant figure out the amount of ink coverage applied to a sign. we charge more for full ink coverage, we realized that we could put in a price for that as an add on, but again you have to use a drop down with all the different prices for a 1 color full reverse, 2 color full reverse, 3 color... etc etc. So not only does it look weird that there are so many options that doby psgraphics - General Discussion
there are other use cases too. But yes, the customer would have to be honest enough to click the appropriate check box in the cart. Obviously we double check all orders, but it would be nice for the customer to be able to get it right the first time. We have the above example implemented already in our cart as a drop down. but we've got 1 or 2 more ideas that work the same way. I just think it stby psgraphics - General Discussion
Related, but a little different topic. What if we could have add on options based on certain criteria that has been used in the design. For example, a custom color addon charge of $10 for a 1 color design, 15 for a 2 color design, 20 for a 3 color design. instead of having an addon drop down list shown in the cart of: Custom Color - 1 color design: $10.00 Custom Color - 2 color dby psgraphics - General Discussion
I think the product img is still being forced onto the page, which is fine i guess, but its not pulling the img is just <img src='' width='100' /> where in RTD does an image need to be uploaded for it to pull? Which leads me to believe i've not filled in RTD in the right place, because "productdesc" div is also blank. and <img src=http://test.************.com/wby psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team

After testing the font groups. I guess i was expecting it to work the same way as the templates. If you have groups / super groups set in the templates it gives you the names as links then makes a sub list, then shows the template pictures. Might be nice to have the fonts work the same way.by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
well, looks like i need to re-familiarize myself with the admin panel, lol thanks for the tip ;)by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
something that might be nice is the ability to group the fonts. Serif, San Serif, Script, Decor... etc. I realize you could do this by messing around with the show order, but that's a little bit of a pain editing them one by one.by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
ah ha, sorry, wasn't familiar with that.... and you're right, works perfectly.by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
well, we've got lots of general templates, some are the same template, just with different bg pictures. So we would want those certain templates to only show up with certain products. Just thought it would be easy to do a short code that would only pull certain template categories like this:by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Is there a way to only "import" / "display" certain general or product templates? or, a way to disclude certain templates?by psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team

I put a fresh install of WP on a test subdomain. Installed the new plugin, everything goes smooth till i try and hit the "click here to import products from API" link. Nothing happens. Tried it in FF, chrome & IEby psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
@ alex - No overwriting. When you hit the delete plugin button on WP it deletes the files off the server already, so when you login to FTP there's nothing there... However i dont know if there are some database entries that might not be clearing... @mark, i think im just going to try deleting all WP files to see if that works, this was probably just some weird fluke, I'll post back what happenby psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
yea, tried that yesterday before i posted, but again today just in case. It didnt fix anything... running WP 3.5 if I try to activate both i get this error... Not sure whats wrong. I installed the new files from above and now im getting 2 instances of the plugin running even though there are only 1 set of files on the ftp... see pic below also, when i went to import the templates it said.... ... a quick search through freightquote.com turns up a simple freight calculator http://b2b.freightquote.com/LearnMore.aspx I know that there are plug-ins for stores like Zencart, so they have to have something that's somewhat easy to use. I'll have to get back to you about how far off UPS/FedEx quotes are... I know that we dont ship with them very often because everyone else seems to be chby psgraphics - General Discussion
Not sure if this has been discussed or is already in the works, I couldn't find anything off hand. This last year was super busy for us and it became apparent that we needed to buckle down and find a better solution for getting Feight LTL quotes. One of our biggest challenges for online quoting is that we cant give live shipping quotes because there are so many factors that go into picking theby psgraphics - General Discussion
Found a typo. In the Plugin if you click on Product General Templates, the heading once on that page, General is spelled "Genreral"... speaking of general templates It doesn't seem to want to load all of them? (only loads 49). Which made me wonder, is it just using the first category on the general template list? Which i confirmed that it was by adding a new template to that firsby psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
Side note... upgraded yesterday to 3.5 (which coincidentally was released yesterday)... piece of cake! With this new plugin im sure we'll be working it into our site... soo much to do nowby psgraphics - Announcements from the RealTimeDesigner Team
javascript perhaps? we use uploadify for our other pages. basically uploadify.js takes care of the progress bar (uses a swf file for the bar) and getting the file uploaded, then we just export the link for the file into the form field. dunno if that would work for you, thought i would throw it out there. http://www.uploadify.com/by psgraphics - General Discussion
Happy Birthday Alex!by psgraphics - General Discussion
we are running at about: 7.5% IE7 as a yearly average 6% @ 6 mo 5.5% 3 mo ... so its steadily declining on our own site too but not quite enough for us to throw in the towel.... also not sure of those 7.5% actually go through with designing something on RTD after visiting our site. then again, as you stated Alex, 3.5% isn't very much... why should 96.5% of people suffer for the 3.5% lagby psgraphics - General Discussion
