Great News! Apple updated Safari today. Now works with RTD.

I've done some basic testing and Safari 3.1 on the Mac works great.

The browser is blazing faster than before also.

I will have to test the Windows version to see if it works.

Good news. A lot of graphics people use Macs.

I do not have any Mac here, so i've never been able to test Safari as needed.
I do know there's a windows port, but it seems it has many issues, and i don't really think that safari on Win is a so relevant percentage. At the end, Safari is Mac browser and should be tested there: if now you confirm that it works with RTD in its own environment, well... that's a great news!!!
