Abandoned Cart

I have been experiencing abandoned carts recently and was going to follow up with the customer by sending an email. While I found a lot of great templates for the email, I hate to reinvent the wheel, they all give a link that goes to the customer's cart so they can finish their purchase.

Can you tell me how to get the link to our customer's cart out of RTD? I'm at a loss...

The RTD cart expires after 24 hours or non-activity of the user. If they're registered they can retrieve saved designs though.
But if your question is about how to reach the RTD cart from OUTSIDE of the RTD during that timespan, then you can use the external cart module.
In admin panel, Your RTD Links & Builders and look for the EMBEDDABLE MODULES links. For each store you have you will find the cart one, which is actually the RTD car to be embedded outside of the RTD
