QR CODE GENERATOR
A QR Code generator will be included into the cliparts page.
That will allow your customer to create a QR Code of any text they want, and treat it as a regular custom uploaded BW clipart.
In case you've edited CSS or other codes into the cliparts popup, be ready to revise it when this update will be released: infact, it will also change slightly the style on top.
Please look at the attached file to see what default top menu will be changed to.
The QR Code update will be applied on Friday, August 31st, evening time.
PROPERTIES ALIGNED TO ITEM'S BOX
in SYSTEM OPTIONS => Styles Setup => OTHER STYLE OPTIONS there's a new option on bottom.
It's
Initial placement of item properties (colors, fonts, align, etc) (center/itemalign).
It will act in placing the popup that appears when you want to change color, font, stroke, etc... of an item.
"center", which is the default, is what you normally have: the popup showing in the middle of the screen.
"itemalign" will instead force the popup to be shown below the item area itself, leaving the design area always visible.
Also, when using "itemalign", popup will NOT automatically close when a color/font/etc... is selected: this to allow users to see in realtime the change's effect.
If you're going to use it, be ready to do some extra editing too: being aligned below item's area, the available width is lower than the regular centered popup. This means you may want to revise the number of entries to be shown per-line in order to obtain a better layout.
The feature is new, so consider it BETA for now. More changes will be probably applied to it.
In general, the meaning is to have the design area always "free to view", allowing users to test properties and see effects in realtime.
